Our applications are typically built using PHP, due to its stability and performance. Often, the application will be designed to run on what is commonly referred to as the LAMP platform (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP).

Recently we have been delving more and more into the 'NoSQL' database, mongoDB. mongoDB offers great speed improvements, both in actual performance and in development time thanks to its great flexibility. We are currently developing an application framework for PHP and mongoDB called 'photon' which should provide an excellent starting point for building LAMP applications where the 'M' stands for mongoDB.
